Xmas is also for grown-ups at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya!

Xmas has always been a time for children. Even for my two, aged nine and eight, with the ‘truth’ becoming obvious, they are quite happy to line up for whatever the man in the red suit and the white beard would like to give them.

However, us grown-ups can also enjoy Xmas, or at least the spirit of it all, at the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya’s Charity Xmas Bazaar. How? Well the local charity organizations, service clubs and generous businesses are all represented, and have bargains for sale, though you should get there early, as some of the items get snapped up before the bazaar has been going for one hour!
As well as bargains, it does the heart good to see the children on stage, performing in front of the audience like seasoned troupers. Some children have an enormous talent, and others are on stage, despite handicaps giving the performance of a lifetime.

One group that always tugs on heart strings are the children from the blind school. Children who will never see Santa, but through the bazaar can experience Santa and Xmas.

Everyone who attends this function in the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya’s lobby area returns the next year. It is a major event for the underprivileged children in this area, and a fun event for the adults.
It is on Saturday December 14 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

I look forward to seeing you there!
