There are numerous services provided by the Hemodialysis Department of Bangkok Hospital Pattaya:

  • Hemodialysis. Our modern and international standard dialysis machines provide patients with hemodialysis, a process of removing waste products from the blood. Our water treatment system meets AAMI standard and verified by The Nephrology Society of Thailand, The Royal College of Physicians of Thailand, and The Medical Council of Thailand. We utilize state-of-the-art reverse osmosis to obtain the purity necessary for treatment.
  • Hemodialysis is also available at the critical care units both ICU and CCU. An appropriate type of treatment depends on nephrologist’s investigation either normal dialysis or continuous renal replacement therapy.
  • There 14 dialyzers with 12 dialyzers available at the Hemodialysis Department and 2 available at the critical care units.
  • Service hours during 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Mon-Sat (2 times); 7 a.m.- 12 a.m. on Mon-Sat (1 time)
  • 24 hour service for emergency cases
  • 3 full-time nephrologists
  • Nurse specialists who are certified from The Nephrology Society of Thailand look after patients all the time during hemodialysis. They can also provide consultation if necessary.
  • All 9 nurses at the Hemodialysis Department have passed specific hemodialysis training courses.
  • Standard Reverse Osmosis (RO) System quality assurance is checked by the company every month.
  • Equipped with a resuscitation team and advance equipment such as EKG, defibrillator, oxygen sat recorders that can continuously measure patient status so that the nurse will know immediately if there is any change.
  • Regularly checking the dialyzer and RO system before providing treatment with the patient.
  • 12 single rooms for each patient; TV and sofa are also provided for relatives in the patient room.
  • Common room available for patient’s relatives, equipped with full facilities i.e. microwave, TV, hot-cold water, cutlery, dining table, newspaper, and coffee break.
